TECHNIQUE AND LONGEVITY
Culminating a 30-year evolution, my signature method merges classical training with advanced modern materials for extreme archival permanence.
The process involves 30–40 layers on a hand-sanded, ultra-smooth acrylic ground. To create deep, textureless gradients, I utilize both a controlled airbrush and traditional brushes. This guarantees a genuine, 100% hand-painted, and highly durable finish.
Below is a step-by-step documentation of the creation of "Gretchen" (2026), demonstrating the 25 physical stages of this complex technique.
